Brief Answer:
3 to 4 months

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your query.

Petogen is made up of a hormone similar to progesterone which is naturally produced in the body. Petogen is a synthetic form of the progesterone. It helps to prevent the development and release of egg from the ovaries during menstrual cycle thus prevents pregnancy. This is a common hormonal contraceptive medication.

The effect lasts for not less than 3 months. You may not have ovulation for 3 months after stopping the medications. But one cant bank on that, one ha sto employ other barrier birth control techniques once the petogen is stopped.

In case you are planning for pregnancy, a minimum waiting period of 3 months must be expected. Well, its not always right in all.

Hope, I answered your query.

Wish you good health.

regards,
