How Long Should Darifenacin Be Taken To Control Urinary Incontinence?

Vesigard 15 mg is not available in the medical stores. I even looked for alternatives for containing Darifenacin, which isn't available either. Sometimes it is even difficult to get the 7.5 mg variant. Currently we're continuing with 7.5 mg twice daily, which seems to be helping as there's very little incontinence. Please suggest if you know any alternatives.
Also, looking at the current condition do you know for how long we've to continue the medication i.e. will we stop/change the medication eventually or it has to be taken life-long to control incontinence ?
Alternatives include Dariten, Darilong, Darif
Detailed Answer:
The above three are other alternatives to Vesigard. they are all fine with me - no specific preference.
If the incontinence is better, that's fantastic news. Hope she gets better and better.
The disease will gradually evolve, and I imagine a time could come when we might have to reduce the medication dosage or alter the drug, and some times add a new drug. Off hand it would be difficult to predict when that could happen, and that's why a 3 monthly regular check of Serum Creatinine could help. Keeping the infection in check along with managing constipation is important. We might have to repeat the urodynamics once every year or two, especially if there is a sign of increasing Serum Creatinine or dilatation of kidney on an ultrasound scan which is thankfully a relatively simple test.
Regards.
