Question: Hello, to my understanding I’m aware that arimistane is a banned substance in wada so I was wondering how long this will actually stay in my system seeing that I’ve been taking 37.5mg of it for the past month without knowledge of it being a banned substance and I have a test coming up for a powerlifting competition sponsored by the USAPL next month

Brief Answer:
Arimistane is newer aromatase inhibitor that is banned for sports

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Arimistane's half life is few hours, so it should not stay in system for more than 2-3 days. Even if we consider that they are scanning for its degradation products, then also it should be no more than 4-5 days.

Since it is known to cause permanent inhibition of the enzyme aromatase, its use is not recommended, and you should discontinue its use right now.
