How Many Mankind Tablets Be Taken In A Day?
Question: Hi doctor... I am already took mankind tablets 2 times...now again I want to take it one more time....is it safe?

Mifepristone and misopristol tablets...actually I took it 2 times at 6 months intervals the same tablet I used for both abortions... If again I want to use it...is it safe?

I am very disappointed with your story.
This is third time you are looking for abortion.
I will never advise this drug for third time without medical supervision.
This drug has to be taken only under special unavoidable situations,that too under strict supervision of an experienced gynecologist.
The reasons are.
1)An ultrasound is a must to exclude ectopic before giving this medicine.
2)After taking,this need strict serial followup with gynecologic examination and ultrasound.
3)There can be serious side effects like severe vaginal bleeding needing emergency intervention,uterine infections with sepsis etc
4)Repeated use can cause significant side effects on reproductive system as well as other systems of our body.
4)Repeated use will affect your reproductive health and may cause infertility.
Kindly note that medical termination of pregnancy is not a simple and easy thing as using an emergency pill.It has a heavy toll on our overall and reproductive health.You had already two previous MTPs.
If we do not want pregnancy,let us prevent that-there are many safer methods available for prevention,rather than going for abortion again and again.
You can discuss in detail with your gynecologist.
