Question : I have a prescription for Tramadol, it states to take 3 tablets at bedtime. I need it during the day to help with pain. I had back surgery, fused my spine, a couple of months ago. How many Tramadol can I take in one day and still be safe?

Hello,

It depends upon the dose of tablet or capsule (50 mg/ 100 mg) that you are taking. total safe dose is up to 400 mg per day. However, in cases of concomitant liver diseases, we tend to giver lower doses.
A prescription stating exact dosing is must from your doctor.
