Brief Answer:
6-7 hours

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted the details. At your age, about 6-7 hours of sleep per day is needed to have a normal life. After 60, sleep pattern is biphasic, which means, the total sleep quota can be completed in two pahses- one afternoon nap of 1-2 hours and the rest during nights.

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.

Best wishes,
