Question: How many times per day should I perform the epley maneuver
Brief Answer:
As below:
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. The Epley's Maneuver is usually not performed more than 2-3 times.
2. It has a success rate of over 90-95%, even with a single maneuver.
3. If you do want to repeat it at home, I would suggest an assisting device such as a DizzyFix.
4. Usually two to three sets of Brandt-Daroff and Semont's Maneuvers (done daily over a few days) are enough at home.
5. It is important to restrict head movement to the horizontal plain and to sleep sitting with extra pillows (not an easy thing to do) for two days after performing an Epley's Maneuver.
If you have any further questions, I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
