How Much Quantity Of Cheddar Cheese Can Be Given To Infant?
I have a eight month old baby and he likes to eat cheese. The question is how much cheese is good for him. We are giving him cheddar cheese, so please let me know the quantity we can feed him per day.
Thanks for posting the query.
Cheese is an excellent source of vitamins and good quality protein. It is recommended for children in preschool age. However, since your child is only eight months old and has just started on the top feed, you should be careful protein XXXXXXX foods, especially from the animal sources. your child's digestive system is still delicate and introduction of foods have to be planned judiciously to observe and avoid any adverse reactions or allergies.
Cheddar cheese is a commercial product and may contain synthetic food stabilizers or preservatives to increase its shelve life. Therefore its not recommended for infants. small quantities may be given sometimes as soups, vegetable pulp etc.
Hope this satisfies your query.
