Brief Answer:
range from 4-8hrs, individual variation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
If we take normal individual who are healthy at present- they can be divided into short and long sleepers.
Short sleepers- get refreshed both in body and in mind by sleepin for 4-5 hours a day.

Long sleepers- on the other hand are the ones who naturally need to sleep for 7-8/9 hours to feel good and fresh. If they sleep less, they tend to feel lethargic or irritated, may find it difficult to concentrate in work..

So, the normal sleep can range from 4-8 hours.
