Now taking- Plavix,Xarelto,Bisoprolol,Lipitor,Candesartan,Tecta,Nitro-patch and have a Pacemaker inserted. I have 3 heart vein blockages, Edema and GERD.

Hi dear.Regret for the delay.

Your doc was true.Xarelto and Plavix are blood thinners and need blood work to monitor kidney function and the coagulation profile (if necessary).

Lipitor checks excess cholesterol and lipid profile test needs to be done once every year.

The rest donot need any blood work-

Tecta is anti-reflux medication.

Bisoprolol, Nitro-patch, candesartan are for reducing your blood pressure.
