Brief Answer:
Depends on sensitivity of skin.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:
1. Not everyone will be sensitive to sunlight due to medication.
2. If he is, better to use sunscreen for exposed areas. Then, prolonged exposure should not be a problem. However, if not using, limit to less than two hours. If he gets any skin itching, burning or rashes, then he has a sensitive skin and exposure should be limited to less than half an hour.
3. Avoid direct exposure as much as possible.
Hope it helps.
