I understand your concern.

This drug is safe only when used for a short duration of time like 1-2 months only.

Beyond 3 months, this drug can cause neurocognitive dysfunction in the elderly.

The propensity to unprovoked falls increases due to high sedation.Likewise risk of seizures increases.

Hence, in the above preview it is always better to keep the drug use under 2 months and if possible avoid it altogether.
