Pantoprazole is medication which is proton pump inhibitor and it means that it reduces secretion of acid in stomach and esophagus. it is used in patient who has gastritis, GERD, esophageal disorders or stomach ulcers. It is very often used today and efficient in these patients. it has minor possible side effects such as allergy reactions but no serious complications are reported so it is actually very safe medications. it should be taken 20mg or 40mg daily.
