How Should Exaggerated Response Of The Salivary Glands And The Inability To Swallow It While Eating Be Treated?
Question: i create to much saliva and have a tendency to not be able to swallow and then have to throw up to be able to eat again

If there is a sensation or feeling of a "lump" in the throat. If its associated with significant wasting and weight loss and is subsequently causing problems with swallowing then the oral cavity in particular needs to be examined preferably by an ENT specialist doctor. If this also associated with coughing or choking while taking food or liquid then its essential that it gets examined.
Sinus, oral cavity and throat infections , all can lead to hyper salivation and difficulty in clearing it. Excess salivation/ drooling at night is often related to nasal obstruction commonly associated with a deviated nasal septum.
The mouth should also be examined for inflammatory focus, ulcers and oral hygiene. Lymph nodes , parotid and salivary glands should be examined and any abnormal growth, nodule or lump should be duly noted and documented.
Treatment would depend upon the cause found.

my mistake was to say it was excess saliva. What i should have said was, after i eat (does not matter what it is) it is hard to describe but i will try. it feels like i my throat get excess mucus from saliva or enzymes to start to digest food. While i am eating and try to drink water it seems like the water has no where to go. Sometimes the water washes done the food and other times i have to go to the restroom and barf up the water and it is followed by a lot of mucus. When i barf up everything and can go back and eat and not have any problems eating. Can you tell what causes this to happen, it has been going on for some years now.

For the time being lansoprazole 30 mg once a day before meal along with metoclopramide twice a day can be advised to look for improvement of the symptoms. If its related to the reflux then there will be marked resolution of the symptoms and can be continued for a month afterwards.
