How Should Mild Metabolic Activity In Haemothorax And 2 Lymph Nodes Be Treated After The Lymphoma Is Treated?
Question: Can you help read Pet Scan results?
Head/neck... interval resolution of activity within left level 2 lymph node. Stable linear focus of activity in right sternocleidomastoid muscle. Consistent with physiologic activity.
Chest... multifocal borderline metabolic activity in periphery of right lung along pleural surface. Previous noted foci of abnormal metabolic activity within both sides of chest have resolved.
Impression... marked improvement in appearance since last scan. New multifocal mild activity within right hemothorax along peripheral pleural surfaces. Interval resolution of activity within left level 2 lymph node.
I'm most concerned with new activity... is it spreading? Petscan was for stage 4 lymphoma.

Brief Answer:
Pet CT scan after 3 months
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your Pet CT scan result
It shows after treatment there has become an improvement and previous lesion in lungs have resolved and the lymphoma is now gone
However there is mild metabolic activity in haemothorax and 2 lymph nodes which is not of concer as it is mild in nature and requires follow up.
I would advise you to do a Pet CT scan after 3 months to look whether these lesions are increasing in the scan
