Brief Answer:
3 years gap after first c-section is advisable.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to HCM for an opinion,
The fact that she has had c-section just last year, the only concern here is the uterine scar thickness. Ideally it is advised that one should avoid pregnancy for at least 3 years post c-section to allow the scar to heal well and a scar thickness of more than 3mm is considered safe for bearing another pregnancy, the aim being to avoid any uterine rupture.
Thats the only prime concern, so she should get a scar thickness ultrasound done before contemplating pregnancy.
