How Soon Can One Fly After Pacemaker Implantantion?

Question: how soon can a patient fly after a pacemaker implantantion?
Brief Answer:
When was your procedure carried out?
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for this query.
Carrying on with normal activities after a pacemaker implantation. Flying is actually not forbidden but you need to take extra precautions as mot of the instruments and machines used in screening before boarding the plane contain strong magnetic fields that may interfere with the normal functioning of you device. I will recommend that you ask every officer before going through any security check just to make sure all is okay and it would not interfere with your device functioning.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
