How To Calculate Ovulation Time?
Question: Hi, I had my last period on July 14 th 2013. I also had sexual intercourse on this date. My period is quiet regular. I then had sexual intercourse on 2 August 2013. I did not find out I was pregnant until 18 weeks. At this scan I was told my due date was 21 April 2014. Due to medical reasons ( high blood pressure) I was induced on April 8 2014 & had my son on April 9. Could you please tell me which time I had sexual intercourse did I conceive my son? Thank you

1. If you had intercourse in july 2013 you could not have been pregnant as you had your periods that time.
2. The ovulation could have occurred around 2 August and hence you got pregnant by that sexual act.
3. But for calculating pregnancy dates last menstrual period is taken which corresponds to ultrasound scan.
