How To Calculate The Date Of Conception?
Question: Please help as this is my last hope. My fiance cheated on me a while back and shes pregnant. i just found out a few days ago that she cheated. Now first off im lost for words and dont know what to do. I am confident that my baby girl is mine but theres that doubt. Here are the facts that i know. Her LMP was 2/27/2016. She cheated on me 3/2/16 ,also the last day of her period, and from what ive read the cervical mucus is "hostile" at this time and makes it very hard for sperm to survive. i know sperm can survive up to 5 days under optimal conditions. Also on 5/5/16 she had her first ultrasound and the obgyn put the GA at 9wks4dys. Also the CRL was at 26.96mm. The due date is set at 12/3/16. From what i calculate her ovulation should of been around march 12-13, amd we had sex multiple times that week before and after ovulation date.
Brief Answer:
It's your baby
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
She wouldn't have got pregnant when she cheated on you on 3/2/16. It is not possible to get pregnant before 8th day of periods no matter what.
This has to be your baby.
Let me know if you need anymore help.
Regards

what do you mean the 8th day of her period. I thought that they were only 5 days average
Brief Answer:
No chance of pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
First 8 days from start of periods are considered safe days. That is when the pregnancy is not possible under any circumstances. Risk of pregnancy is only after 10th day of period.
Since your fiancee had sex with other person on 5th day there is absolutely no chance of pregnancy.

i was reading over your answers and since sperm can live up to 5 days isnt it possible that there could of been some alive on day 10 after her period. The first 8 days would of it 2 days short of the maximum days the sperm could survive along woth the period days. Hope you understand
Brief Answer:
One day survival
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Best chance if fertility is with sperms within 24 hours of sex. Very few survive for 3 days. It is extremely rare for them to survive for 5 days. For all practical purposes 3 days is the maximum duration sperms can survive.
Hence no chance of pregnancy.
