How To Calculate The Gestational Age Of Foetus?
Question: Hi I missed my periods on 7th of January. Please tell me how much old my fetus will be now and when to go for first scan? My cycle is of 30 days and my last periods started on 7 Dec 2014

Firstly you have to confirm pregnancy with a urine pregnancy test. if its positive then fetus would be 5 weeks + 5 days , and you can go for the dating scan next week between 6-7 weeks to confirm the heart beat and intrauterine pregnancy,

I have already done the urine test for pregnancy and its positive . However I have concern with calculation of weeks for fetus. In the month of December we had intercourse only once on 20 th dec after I used ovulation kit to know the date when exactly to have intercourse to conceive so accordingly fetus should be around 3 weeks

It is not advisable to travel by bike in the first trimester as the unwanted jerks during the travel may initiate a bleeding which can be completely avoided. So it is advisable to use a better form of commuting, a taxi or a auto rickshaw and drive slow.
