It is difficult to say without investigating.

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to healthcare magic.
A DIAGNOSIS of diabetic melitus is made when fasting serum glucose level is at or above126 mg/dl or a 2 hour postprandiol level is at or above 200mg/dl. on 2seperate occasions.
If fasting glucose varies between 100-125 mg/dl and 2 hour glucose following OGTT is140-199 is considered glucose intolerant.
Sporadic hyperglycemia can occur in children during inter current illness.
Hyperglycemia during illness, the incidence of DM is small < 5%.
Sporadic hyperglycemia occurring without stress or illness diabetes develops in at least 30%.

As per definition your daughter is at risk for DM.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for asking followup query question on health care magic.
As the fasting glucose level is above the threshold level 126 mg/dl at times, she is at risk for development of diabetic melitus.
If she is having any infection prior to testing for blood glucose the risk is <3%.
Other wise the risk is 30%.
Frequent checking for blood sugar levels and immediately after infection or stress will help you to estimate the risk.
