How To Check For Ovulation Date?
Question: HI My wife's period cycle are 27th feb,2014 then 2nd april 2014 and now 3rd may 2014. Can you please tell me which will be her fertile days in this current month of may so that we can plan for a baby. Also which lubricant is useful I have ky jelly and also pre-seed. Is there a date to plan for a baby boy thanks Bhavin

Ovulation occurs 14 days prior to next period due date. In case of regular period with 28-30 days duration, the fertile days will be from 11th-18th days of each cycle.
In your wife's case the cycle duration is 31-34 days. The fertile days will be between 14th- 21st day of the cycle- dates will be 16th may to 23rd may. You can use ovulation prediction kit (LH kit) to predict ovulation time in mid cycle. With this protocol, chances of pregnancy can be maximized.
You can use K-Y jelly for lubrication. The chance to conceive baby boy is entirely natural and no one can decide the sex of the baby.
The sex of the baby depends on the chromosome fertilized whether X or Y and that cannot be controlled by anyone as it depends which one sperm swims and fertilizes fast so it entirely depends on the sperm. It does not depend on the date of conception or intercourse.

Thank you. Also after intercourse is there a particular position which my wife has to sleep on bed. We r planning on 17th 19th 21 st and 23rd to have intercourse is it advisable? Or 16th 18th 20th and 22nd. Generally 4 times of intercourse is enough or we have to keep it continuous rather then alternate days. Can she go to the bathroom after intercourse

I have both Ky Jelly and Pre-seed lubrication which one do you advise to use? the LH kit should we start testing from 16th onwards ?

Also once we do the intercourse how long does sperm would live inside the vagina some say it stays alive for 3 days ? Can you please throw a light on that
