Question: 25 year old woman trying to concieve, have tried tracking my discharge to predict ovulation however my discharge doesn't seem to change, after my period I have a dry spell and then around day 12 my discharge becomes watery and stays this way until about day 18. Was expecting egg white consistency closer to ovulation. Is this normal?
Brief Answer:
Egg white consistency does not occur
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I read your query and I understand your concerns.
This is normal pattern of mucous change that is observed during ovulation.
Egg white consistency does not occur in reality but just thickness of this watery discharge increases.
Hence the thick watery discharge what you described around ovulation is best time to try for pregnancy.
