The hymen is definitely present and is intact, there is a small opening in center of hymen that is quite common to allow the menstrual blood drainage, the edges are smooth except posterioly where the margin is bit interrupted( The clarity/resolution of picture is not good). Brief Answer: Hymen looks almost normal Detailed Answer: Dear Ms On careful examination of clinical picture provided by you, I see that hymen is clearly present except for slight irregularity posteriorly which can only be appreciated by expert examination. Being Pediatric Surgeon , I have come across several cases of rapes in minor, ranging from 9 months old baby to 18 year old young female. For penetration t occur in children it requires lot of force, not only the hymen ruptures alone but also there is severe vaginal tear and also tear extended to rectum which is quite unlikely in adults. I cannot see any such evidence in your clinical photograph. Being a Parent myself , I do understand the difficult situation you must be facing with regards to your marriage.
