How To Confirm A Miscarriage?

Question: I have just finished appointment with my doctor who told me that i am 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant with triplets but she cant detect heartbeats (she did check it vaginaly) she basically told me that i had miscarriage that did not happen yet however she did schedule another ultrasound in two days to see again should i be worried or there is still hope

Following is my reply:

1. Heart should appear by 6 weeks. It is unlikely to appear after 7 weeks.

2. Only in cases of delayed implantation, it is possible that heart beat appears late otherwise chances are less.

3. Schedule next ultrasound scan after one week instead of 2 days. If there is no heartbeat after one week, you can choose to terminate pregnancy.

So i should definitely schedule next visit in week instead of two days also doctor has never taken any blood to check for the hcg levels

if it is a miscarriage and there is no bleeding will it be safe to wait a week for another ultrasound
