How To Confirm A Successful Abortion?

Question: Hello
I am 37 yrs old and took mifegest kit starting sunday , one orally and 4 pills vaginally day before yesterday I was confirmed 7 weeks and 5 days pregnant . I had severe pains and bleeding , in which I think I expelled the sac and a lot of clots . The bleeding has come down . But I still feel a nauseous and have slight cramps . does this mean the abortion is not complete . Do I have to wait for the scan after the bleeding stops or Do I need to follow this up with another dose .
Thanks

Brief Answer:
Abortion has likely occured
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Expelling fleshy mass, clots followed by decreased flow of bleeding is suggestive of the fact that the abortion process has occurred.
Nausea and slight cramps are common till the entire abortion is complete.
You should get a ultrasound done after15 days to confirm the completion of abortion.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

I have take the mifegest kit on 10 the of May . I am still bleeding . There was heavy bleeding for the first after which it reduced the next week and towards the end of last week was only spotting . From the past two days the bleeding has again increased not very heavy but definitely not spotting .
Brief Answer:
Get an ultrasound done
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear, in this case, you should get an ultrasound done to detect any retained products of conception which are present in uterine cavity, causing this bleeding.

Hello ma'am
Will they do an ultra sound done even when I am bleeding . Actually from the past 4 days it has been period type bleeding .
Do you suggest I wait for 2 more days or do I get it done ? Is it a TvS scan I have to get done?
Please also do let me know if I would have to repeat a course of tablets or an aspiration will be absolutely necessary
Thank you
