How To Control Constipation ?
Question: Hello. I am a 31 years old woman. My last date of periods was on 8th December 2024 and I did urine as well as blood hcg test and it came out to be positive. My family doctor has put me on Folic acid tablets 5mg and Supradyn multivitamins. I am yet to meet a gynae and am planning so in the coming week. Meanwhile, I am fine throughout the day but after dinner, my belly button feels pressure and I am in discomfort because of that. I am having constipaption from sometime now and I was already trying to cope up with it by having isabgol. I am not sure if this is because of constipation or anything else.
Brief Answer:
Can be due to a heavy meal or acidity.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The pressure and discomfort at belly button after dinner can be related to constipation or a heavy meal or mild acidity after meals. You can have some lime juice or ginger juice to feel relaxed. It is right now too early to start having symptoms of pregnancy. In case the discomfort persists then you can talk to your gynaecologist and she can prescribe you some good enzyme syrup after a proper examination.
It is not likely to be related to any serious issue. Increasing the fruit intake can help.
Hope this answers your query.
Any further questions are welcome.
