Hello, and thanks for your question.
I'm sorry you are having such a difficult time. Here are my thoughts:
You may have bipolar disorder based on your description of mood swings, irritability, aggression, and at times depressed mood. Cymbalta can actually make bipolar disorder worse. I would suggest slowly tapering off Cymbalta under the guidance of your prescribing doctor.
I would also suggest increasing the Risperdal as you are on a low dose and Risperdal can help with mood stability. I would increase it slowly up to a maximum of 3 mg twice daily. I believe these are the best medication options to help your mood.

It is possible that with regular weekly psychotherapy you might be able to manage this illness. However, medication is usually necessary, which is why I made the suggestions above.

As I mentioned, you may have bipolar disorder based on your description of mood swings, irritability, aggression, and at times depressed mood. I agree with the use of Risperdal as it would likely help your symptoms, and as I mentioned I would also suggest increasing the Risperdal as you are on a low dose and Risperdal can help with mood stability, increasing it it slowly up to a maximum of 3 mg twice daily.
