Question: if my gf had an ipill on the 9th day of her cycle, after how many days can she have safe sex again ?
today is her 22nd day of cycle..is sex safe today?

Hi.. yes.. in a normal 28 day cycle 8to 18th day is fertile period.. rest of the period is safe.. But failure rate us high..

hello
my gf and I had sex on the 9th day of her cycle
it was 22nd September
she had an ipill WITHIN 2 hours itself that day only

1) she bled alot after about a week of having ipill.
was that withdrawal bleeding ? it lasted for 1-2 days.

2) we had sex again yesterday and today (10th and 11th October) as according to her cycle, it was the 27th and 28th day of her cycle yesterday and today..these are safe days right ?

3) today is the 11th of October and her last cycle started on the 14th September
when will she get her next period ? is there any chance of pregnancy ?

PLEASE eply to all my doubts.

I understand your concern..

1)Yes.. it could be withdrawal bleeding following use of pill..
2)If she is having a28 day cycle then 27 and 28th day is safe period.. But she had bleeding in the last ask of September so it might not be the 28th day.. The cycle date will change..
3)Since she had heavy bleeding in the last week of September, she is likely to have periods in the last week of October.. It might delay a bit due to use of I pill..
4)Chance of pregnancy cannot be ruled out since the new cycle is from last week of September so she might be in her fertile period on Oct 10th and 11th.. May be she will have to take repeat ipill..

we did have sex on the 10th and 11th October without protection..as we thought according to the old cycle it is the 27th and 28th day.
are you sure she must be having her fertile period on 10th and 11th October ? was sex in these days risky ?

but we did a pregnancy test today morning with Prega News..and it came negative.

is there still chance of pregnancy ??

what should we do now ? wait to see if she gets her next period ?

I understand your concern..

Since she had a proper menses around Sep 30, Oct 10th and 11th could be her fertile period.. But since she took ipill and got periods whether she ovulated this cycle is not sure..

Pregnancy test won't be positive this early.. She has to wait till Oct end to see for the result.. If urine test is negative by end of Oct need to worry..

I pill will be effective only if taken within 72 hrs.. so the time has crossed.. She is likely to get her periods by end of this month..
