How To Determine Ovulation Days For Easy Conception While On Susten?
Question: hai this is XXXXXXX iam on follicular study in this may 2016 as i had pcod earlier and egg happened only in left ovary DF:17x17mm and ET 10mm and my lmp is may 1st and my doubt is my egg got ruptured in between 13th and 15th day. how should be the timing of intercourse before and after rupturing of egg please kindly suggest me. my gyn told me to take susten 200 from day 16 to 24 once daily of 10 tablets at bed time. please suggest me how much sperm count needed to fertilize an egg.

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic. Yes you should take progesterone tablet for ten days as advised as it helps in delivering proper nutrition to the baby.
Sperm count should be ideally more than 15 million per millilitre of ejaculate with more than 40% motility.
Intercourse should be attempted on alternate days around the days of rupture so as to ensure the presence of sperms at the time of rupture of egg.

Since you are waiting for conception so start following proper diet to manage your weight and PCOD too, and avoid high calorie foods as much as possible.
Take lot of fruits and vegetables along with almonds and walnuts.
Avoid excessive tea and coffee and decrease amount of sugar in daily diet.
No need to start exercise but you can go for a 30 minute brisk walk daily.

hello mam, this is XXXXXXX again my doubt is can we have intercourse now that is 3rd & 4th week of my cycle, all my friends and relatives are suggesting me not to have intercourse bcoz egg ruptured on 15th may and we had intercourse before and after the rupturing of egg for 3 days(i.e 12 th may to 17th may). Is it enough for egg for fertilization. if implantation is happening inside the body there will be any harm to the baby if we do intercourse now. me & my husband not having intercourse after 17th may becouse of this reason only. Please clarify our doubt. if pregnancy conformed after 4 weeks then when should we have intercourse, we are having very little knowledge of pregnany and intercouse, please educate us, waiting for your mam.
