How To Determine The Exact Date Of Conception?

Question: I had protectdd sex on may 28th condom and pullout methods were used. I went to an obgyn on XXXXXXX 3rd and she infomred me that i will be ovulating the coming days maybe 4th or 5th not exactly sure. I had unprotected sex btween 3rd of XXXXXXX and 7th XXXXXXX Now i am due on feb 26 and im freaking out on the chances that the baby could be from the one night stand that happened on the 28th of may. (May had 31 days) pls help me

My period was on may22nd. It is regular. The earliest altrasounds i had while pregnancy comfirmed that i was 12 weeks pregnant. Yes the kne night stand happend on may 28 was witha diff partner. It was protected woth a condom and pullout method one time. However i had unprotected intercourse btween the 3rd of XXXXXXX till 7th with my partner to try to aim for pregnancy. Those days were my fertile days i believe.

Thanks for additional information. I am trying to solve your problem.

1) According to your last period date, your delivery due date is around 26th of this month. You should undergo one ultrasound scan for fetal growth and well being if it is NOT done in 3rd trimester.

2) Ovulation occurs approx 14 days prior to next due date in case of regular cycle. Therefore, your exact ovulation day was 4th XXXXXXX and fertile days were from 2nd to 6th XXXXXXX Hence, 28th May was NOT your fertile or ovulation day.

3) You CAN'T be pregnant (even minimal chance is excluded) with protected sex or using condom while you are NOT on fertile days or ovulation day. Proper timing of unprotected sex and ovulation is must for pregnancy. After ovulation, ovum can survive XXXXXXX 12-24 hrs.

CONCLUSION: You didn't become pregnant (NO chance) from one night stand on 28th May with protected sex.

Ok that makes me less stressful! Thank you. I have a question is it true that the y chromosomes sperm swim faster yet live shorter than x chromsoms. Im having a boy and i read that the closer to ovulation you have intercourse the better chances for a boy?

1) Y chromosome sperm (male type) swim faster and live shorter (due to acidic nature of vagina) than X chromosome sperm.

2) According to Shettle's report and study (though have some controversy), there is SOME chance of getting boy baby when you do unprotected sex on exact ovulation day or closer to it. However, it is NOT a definite or 100% fruitful tested method.
