How To Determine The Paternity Of The Fetus?
Question: This female is saying that she is pregnant with my husbands child. He slept with her march 25th and she told him the morning of april 5th that she was pregnant and it's his. Is that possible for it to be his after such a short time?

It is possible to detect a pregnancy through the estimation of the serum beta-hCG as early as ten days after conception. In fact, in a 28-day cycle, a test done on day-21 has been shown to detect a pregnancy.
Home pregnancy tests cannot read a pregnancy so soon. They can read well only 3-7 days after the missed period.
Provided the woman ovulated around the 25th of March, pregnancy is possible, but, getting a positive HPT so early is not possible. With a blood test, chances of reading a positive pregnancy are there after ten days of ovulation and conception.
Please let me know how she detected pregnancy. If it is through HPT, then this has not been caused by your husband. Also you can calculate her fertile period based on her menstrual calendar. You can then check whether it corresponds to the intercourse date.
