How To Determine The Paternity Of The Fetus?

Question: Hey Doctor,
I had sex with a girl on April 5 2016 which was the day before the start of her LMP. She actually started bleeding on April 6,2016 . She had an ultrasound done on XXXXXXX 2 2016 which stated she was 8 weeks and 1 day pregnant. She also mentioned that she had been having sex with another guy around April 18-27 of 2016. Can you explain to me what are the chances she was conceived . I am unsure if she got pregnant by me or the other guy. I use the pull out method but I dont know if that was enough . Today I believe she is 12 weeks from her last LMP.

If she was 8 weeks pregnant on 2nd XXXXXXX then she conceived after 6th April. The conception takes place almost two weeks after LMP. So you are not the father of the baby. She conceived after 15th April.

K thanks so if she started spotting on the week we had sex let's say April 6 2016. Then her ovulation started on what dates?. Also does this means her fetal age is actually 10 weeks while her gestational age is 12 weeks? Because some of the online calculators state that it would be out of rage for it to be my baby but when I place the conceived date as April 5 2016 in the pregnancy calculator it states that her due date is January 13 2017 which is close to what the ultrasound doctor told her is her due date. Her actual due date is January 11 2017. Should I trust those pregnancy online calculators or not?

Ovulation and conception is near 20th April.

Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If her periods started on 6th April then ovulation would have happened near 20th April. The fetal age is two weeks less than the gestational age.
Do not trust those online calculators. These do not differentiate the LMP and date of conception.

Ok great so lets say she did conceived in the week we had sex how many weeks would she be pregnant? Also if she had a short cycle during that week could she still gotten pregnant that week. Just making sure there is no chances she try to stay I'm the father ?

From my understanding even though unused the pull out method some pre cum could have gotten in there and that sperm can live up to 5 to 7 days. Is that true ? Please explain to me the process of that happening. Thanks

If she conceived on 5th April then she would be at least 14 weeks pregnant today.

The chances of conception due to precum is less than 5%. Also since she had periods after that, the chances of pregnancy or ovulation just after the periods is even lesser.

I have seen the attached report. The fetus does not look more than 8-9 weeks age. You are not the father if you did not have sex after 5th April.
