Question: I am worried. How can a person tell if they are experincing anxiety or partial seizures. I get dizzy and my tongue feels weird like it will roll. I can control it and move it but it feels like it is going to roll. My head also feels weird like it is pulling pulled on direction but it never moves and i can control it. What is this ?

Brief Answer:
More probably anxiety related symptoms,

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Neurologic symptoms caused by partial seizures cannot be controlled voluntarily.

If your symptoms worsen AFTER an anxiety attack, then they are probably related to it.

A simple and cheap test to evaluate seizures is brain electric function study (EEG), so, if in doubt you can discuss with your primary care Doctor about having it done.

If you use any antianxiety drug and symptoms you mentioned above improve, this is a strong evidence about anxiety related symptoms.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

I remain at your disposal for further questions and clarifications.

Take care.
