How To Differentiate Between Symptoms Of Chronic And Acute Nature?
Question: In a patient with a peptic ulcer; is the acute problem the episodes of epigastric pain and the chronic the nausea, bloating, and heartburn or continuous gastritis? I am unsure
Brief Answer:
no difference between acute and chronic symptoms
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
There is not much difference in acute and chronic symptoms.
Pain, nausea and abdominal discomfort can be present in both acute and chronic ulcers.
