Eat a healthy diet with plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables. Drink plenty of water. At least 2 litres per day. Take regular rest breaks and with feet raised to reduce swelling. Ensure at least 8 hours of sleep per night. Avoid alcohol and smoking.
Get hemoglobin checked regularly and take iron tablets if recommended by her doctor.
Practice relaxation techniques and be careful about what medications she takes during pregnancy.
