How To Flush Out Liquid Cleaner From System?
Question: my son has just licked the lizol floor cleaner liquid 2 times , i can smell from his mouth and i have washed his mouth and gave him a cup of water ... should i take him to hospital ?
Brief Answer:
No cause for worry, just observation at a hospital
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. A couple of licks or a small quantity of Lizol floor cleaner liquid ingested accidentally should not be a cause of concern.
2. Your treatment seems fine.
3. Just as a precautionary measure, considering his age, it is recommended that you keep him under observation for 24 hours at a nearby hospital under a pediatrician. Carry the bottle to the hospital to enable them to confirm the exact contents.
4. Take measures to such avoid re-exposure in future. Many such products are stronger than Lizol, contain acids, bleach and corrosives.
If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
