How To Get Off Our Boy From Breastfeeding?
Question: We have a 2 years old boy and My wife wants to get some suggestions/input on how she can get off our boy from breastfeeding as he constantly cries and doesn't go to sleep without breastfeeding. She is also feeling pain now...
Our son is on breastfeeding since his birth and want to take him out of the habit. FYI,Our son has not taken any packaged power or formulae drinks as he was allergic and omitted the first time we tried to introduce him. We dont want a substitute to get on the packaged boxes.

I would suggest these tips
1. Ensure child doesn’t sleep at night with mother( father needs to be in ) in the same room . This will help in stopping feeding soon. Child may cry for a few days but will get used to it . After a few days mother can come back to the room .
2 . Try replacing with normal cows milk or with solids or juices for feeds.
3. Not Brest feeding in daytime first followed by nights will help
4. Try ointment like Femite which can be applied on breast esp at night ( no side effects ) which cause bitter taste and help in stopping breastfeeds
