Dandruff is a fungal infection of scalp,leading to dry scalp & fall of hairs along with itching of scalp.
Self care is important to control&prevent recurrence.It consists of regular combing, weekly head bath after oil massage as a routine care.
With dandruff infection...alternate day head bath using antidandruff shampoo for a week...to be followed by twice a week shampooing ./washing of comb after use.Avoid using others combs.
In case of no response,consult a skin specialist for oral medication along with personal care.
