Brief Answer:
Lifestyle plus antibiotic

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

If irritable bowel syndrome symptoms are mild, they can be simply managed by lifestyle changes like adding more fruits and veggies to the meals, chew the food nicely, drink water atleast half an hour before and after food, cutdown on alcohol, sugary, caffeinated drinks and fizzy drinks, use whole grains, limit sugar intake, do regular yoga and meditation to deal with stress.
Medicines like Rifaximin maybe needed in moderate to severe cases and need prescription.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
