Brief Answer:
Everyday preventive treatment is necessary.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I have read your question.

Since your migraine headaches are so frequent (i.e more than 3 headaches in a month), it is necessary to consider continuous treatment in order to prevent them.

A number of choices are available regarding this treatment and include triptans, antiepileptic drugs (topiramate for example), beta-blockers (propranolol), etc.

In my opinion, you can start everyday treatment with propranolol for example.

Discuss with your Neurologist for the appropriate medicine and doses.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
