Brief Answer:
Your levels are too low and require treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir, thank you for choosing healthcare magic. Vit d3 levels less than 12ng/ml is considered too low and you need supplementation.
Vitamin D is added to many breakfast cereals and to some brands of orange juice, yogurt, margarine, and other food products.
Fatty fish (like trout, salmon, tuna, and mackerel) and fish liver oils are among the best natural sources of vitamin D.
Beef liver, egg yolks, and cheese have small amounts of vitamin D.
The recommended dosage of vit d is as follows :
1) loading dose of 50,000 IU of vitamin D orally once weekly for 2-3 months, or 3 times weekly for 1 month.
2)maintenance/prevention daily dose of 800 to 2000 IU or more will be needed to avoid recurrent deficiency
3)you can also take 4000IU/ day daily for 3-4 months.
4)Monitoring of serum d3 levels every 3 months is advised and treatment can be complete only when vit d3 level of 30-36ng/ml is reached.
Hope i have answered your question. Please let me know if you need any further assistance. Thank you. Take care.
