Brief Answer:
I do not think so
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
I read your query and understand your concerns.
I do not think you should taper these medications without consulting your treating doctor. I am glad to know that you have no active symptoms right now but most likely it is due to medication effect. In addition bipolar disorder is relapsing and remitting disorder and can strike you anytime without any warning signs or symptoms.
As per the available scientific data it is wise to keep maintenance dose of medication in bipolar disorder to prevent relapse of bipolar disorder.
I hope this helps you.
Feel free to write back to me if you have more questions.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Follow up
Detailed Answer:
Dear,
Thanks for follow up and letting me know your concern about the medication side effect.
It is true that some of the side effects can be caused by your current medications but answer to those concerns can be achieved either with change of medication or life style rather than stopping medication.
I hope this helps you further.
Thanks.
