Question: Hello Doctor,
I need your help in clarifying my doubts on weight loss and request you to suggest
weight loss supplement. (powder / tab)
Firstly, I do have couple of health issues such as stones (4-6mm) in both kidneys (using febutaz 40) and
overweight. Additionally, i suffer with
bloating problem specifically in the afternoon and night. I do not sleep in the night but manage to get 7 hrs sleep between 2 am to 10 am.
I was working as a software consultant earlier and had a bad diet due to long hours of work. I was skipping my breakfast and had lunch, evening snack and dinner. My diet is mainly non veg. I am a male and aged 30.
My
metabolism is at 1350 calories per day as of May 2013. I normally lead a sedentary life style but does walking for 2-3 hrs a day and 5 times / week from last 3 months. I really do wonder as to why my metabolism is bad. My dietary intake is around 900 -1200 calories per day. From past 9 months, i had gained weight around 10 kgs and struggled to reduce by 4 kilos through walking. I was around 69 in March 2013 and peaked to 79.5 in October and now at 74. Most of the fat is in abdomen area. My facial appearance looks swelled in the morning around cheeks and also observed puffy eyes. I have gone through complete health check in Nov and everything looks perfect.
Thyroid is in borderline and the local doctor advised me that no medicines are required.
Neither my south indian diet nor the exercise is helping in reducing the weight as desired (4 kgs / month) and inches around my waist. Just wonder if i stop exercising, how much addl weight i might put on..
