Brief Answer:
Hormone imbalance due to Ipill, get Hemoglobin level tested

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I read your query and I understand your concerns.

Following is my reply:

1) These are related to excess progesterone hormone secondary to ipill.

2) Since you have taken i pill, this has caused disturbance in hormones of body and hence even disturbance in menstruation pattern leading to periods twice a month. Probably you are anemic which has exaggerated these symptoms.

3) You dont need anymore medicines now. The effects of this ipill would have waned off by now and you would do well soon and even your cycles will become regularised.

4) The weakness , headache and calf pain are symptoms of anemia which have been exaggerated by your excessive and frequent bleeding. Please get hemoglobin levels tested to check anemia so that appropriate treatment can be given based on hemoglobin levels.

Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Dr. Soumya

Brief Answer:
Hemoglobin levels

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

This is not a disease.

Anemia is not a disease. Its just deficiency of hemoglobin.

You need to start taking iron tablets after getting hemoglobin done.

These period variations will end now on.

Brief Answer:
Home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy if in doubt

Detailed Answer:
Hi

First get the hemoglobin level tested. Depending on the report you may start on Iron tablets. Get the test done and upload the reports, so that I can suggest you further treatment plan.

You are not pregnant don't worry.

If you are very much in doubt please get urine pregnancy test done at home which should tell you the result and put your mind at ease.
