How To Recognize Implantation Bleeding?
Question: I had my last periods on 24 August. My partner and I had protected sex on 30 August,i.e. with condom. After 2 hours I had an ipill. Since 4 September I am spotting brownish vaginal bleeding. What is it due to? Side effect of ipill or implantation bleeding? How do I differentiate? Also, can I take primulut n this month that is from 13-19 September to regulate my periods?? Will it harm me since I had already taken ipill this month? Also suggest the dosage of primulut n.
Brief Answer:
Due to I-pill.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The brownish spotting that you are having is due to the effect of I-pill. It si not an implantation bleeding which is seen near the time of your periods. You can take primolut N 5 mg twice a day for 5 days to regulate your periods.

Today I was bleeding like my normal periods. However my due date is 22nd September. Have my periods started early because of ipill?? is there any chance of pregnancy?
Brief Answer:
It is a withdrawal bleeding due to pill.
Detailed Answer:
The bleeding you have now is a withdrawal bleeding due to the pill. This is not an implantation bleeding and does not rule out a pregnancy. Your next periods may be delayed. The next normal periods will confirm the absence of pregnancy.

I'm bleeding like normal periods. When will this withdrawal bleeding stop? And if it doesn't stop in scheduled time is there any medicine that I can take to stop it? Please discuss the name and dosage. Also, around when will my periods start and when should I take primolut N??
Brief Answer:
Details below.
Detailed Answer:
The bleeding usually stops in 4-5 days. If it does not stop then do consult your gynecologist for proper hormonal treatment. Your periods are likely to be delayed by a week. It is difficult to predict your next periods date after taking an I-pill. It is not likely to be on fixed date. The medicine can only be suggested after a direct examination and your compatibility with the various hormones.
