How To Recover From A Brain Stroke?
Question: Hi Doctor, my husband had 2 kind of stroke one on the base of rhe brain and one on the right side, he has loss his balance, has dizziness, motion sickness and nausea, it's been like that for 3 weeks He had had at least 5 MR amd the stroke continue. He will continue with this damage? He is at the hospital but he is the same. He is diabetic, hipertenssion hyper colesteromia. He is only 65 years old. He is receiving only Plavix and Valium.Will he recuperate? With his balance?
Will his motion sickness dessapear? or continue? What about his nausea?
He complaints every day with motion sickness.
Will he be normal? Some day?

If particular brain tissue has been damaged because of ischemia(loss of blood supply) then its irreversible. In case the injury is small and reversible then with the passage of time brain tissue improves and that particular function of that part reappears.
