Question: 26 days old having breastfeed for arnd 1.5-2 hrs continously .. What can be done to reduce bf time

Welcome to the healthcaremagic
Some babies are slow feeders and some fast.They take anything between 15 mins to 1-1.5 hours to feed.
Make sure that position of baby's head is correct.He should grab whole nipple + areola in his mouth.Some babies grab it incompletely leading to watery foremilk only(which doesn't satisfy hunger completely). Observe whether the cheeks of the baby are full as it indicates the baby is getting enough milk for each suction. If they do not get they tend to feed for long hours to fulfill their hunger.
Sometimes milk output is less.So they keep sucking.To increase it drink lots of fluid/have complete balanced diet/do meditation to reduce stress/keep positive attitude/can have shatavar granules/if still no improvement then metoclopramide under doctors supervision.

I told you to be positive about feeding your child.Don't think about top milk.If he doesn't gain appropriate weight then only top milk should be given

1) adequate weight gain (15-30 GMs/day)
2)good urine output ( at least 8 times /24 hours)
3)good sleep after feeding
