How To Reduce Vomits If Child Vomits The Medicine?
Question: Hi doctor
My child weighs 23 kg and 8 years old..having fever from yesterday..yesterday the duration of fever occurring is above 6 hours so I managed with fevago ds 6.9 ml...but today fever got spiked within 4 hours so I alternated and giving 6ml meftal also..
But after giving meftal at night she slept immediately and thrown up everything in half hour..can I redose with meftal? Fever is 102 it didnot went down..before fever goes down she vomited..the time is night 12am..so I again gave her fevago after 5 hours itself instead of 6 hours..whether it create any problem..how to reduce if child vomits the medicine.
Also she is poorly eating due to fever and vomits from time to time..

Thankyyou for reassurance..now my child fever is down..but she is nauseous and vomiting and not eating even one third of food..she is telling she feels like vomiting and after eating 4 scoops telling her stomach is full or she feels like vomiting? Is this common after fever? On that day I gave vomikind 5ml in morning and night as I had it in my home before you replied my query..can I continue that or change it..also how many minutes before food i can give vomikind..she is having runny nose at times..what medicine to give for that?
