Hai
Hair loss could be due to various reasons. Basically we divide them into scarring and non scarring.
Scarring types are due to many underlying skin disorders. They may be infective, infiltrative or autoimmune
Non scarring type of hair loss may be due to
1. Nutritional (less intake of proteins or crash diet)
2. Prolonged fevers like tphoid
3. Less intake of iron or excessive loss of iron
4. Intake of drugs like anti cancer drugs
5.hypo thyroidism
6. Alcoholic persons or liver damage
7.stress
8. Excsees of androgen metabolism in the hair
These are some factors which promote hair loss
Regarding acne on chest and back
1. Excess of oil secretion by the glands in the skin
2. Obstruction of oil duct
3.excessive proliferation on bacteria called p. Acnes
4.familial and environmental factors
5. Action of cytokines
All these are responsible.
That's why I have generally mentioned how to take general measures to prevent both the problems in my earlier mail
You may now understand that both are highly complex problems and the cause coul vary from person to person
I hope I have addressed ur concern
